About

It started with one bottle

The first Arabian perfume I tried was Khamrah, by Lattafa. I wasn’t expecting anything in particular. What I found was a different way of understanding a fragrance: denser, warmer, still there on my clothes the next day.

From then on I wanted to know the rest. I tested, compared, bought a few wrong bottles, and slowly learned to tell a good composition from good packaging. Arumé Parfums grew out of that curiosity, and out of wanting to spare that journey to anyone starting now.

Why these houses

I work with Lattafa, Armaf, Afnan, Rasasi, Orientica, Al Haramain and other Middle Eastern houses because I found three things there at once: real quality, honest prices, and something European commercial perfumery has lost, a certain generosity. These fragrances last, they get noticed, and they don’t ask a week’s wages in return.

I don’t sell everything that exists. I sell what I would wear myself.

Every perfume is genuine

Every perfume I ship carries an authenticity seal, verifiable by QR code, which you can scan before you even open the box. It is the same check I run myself when each shipment arrives, product by product.

I don’t deal in imitations, or bottles of unknown origin. If a product fails that check, it doesn’t enter the catalogue.

What you can expect from me

  • Honest advice, even when that means telling you a perfume isn’t for you
  • Fair prices, with no invented discounts on inflated figures
  • Orders dispatched quickly and packed with care
  • Someone on the other side who replies, and who knows what he sells

Try before you decide

Buying a perfume you have never smelled is a leap of faith. That is why I offer decants of any perfume in the catalogue, in 5 ml and 10 ml, prepared when you order. Wear it for a few days, and only then decide about the full bottle.
